Made by hand
Heat, breath, and a trained eye.
Each Persephaure glass begins above 2,000°F and is shaped through a sequence of human decisions. The result is precise, ultra-light, and never anonymous.
The making
Seven steps from gather to finished rim.
Lead-free crystal is gathered, blown, shaped, balanced, drawn, refined, and fire polished. Bowl, stem, and foot resolve as one continuous composition made for the table rather than the display case.
- 01
The Spark of Creation
Lead-free crystal begins as a glowing gather above 2,000°F — alive with heat, clarity, and possibility.
- 02
Breathing Life Into Form
Breath and rotation establish the volume, wall thickness, and first proportions of the bowl.
- 03
Sculpting the Geometry
The bowl is shaped for the wine it will hold, balancing aromatic concentration with room to breathe.
- 04
Balancing the Base
The foot is shaped and leveled by hand to create the poised, stable stance of every silhouette.
- 05
Drawing the Stem
The stem is drawn long and fine, preserving visual lightness without sacrificing everyday function.
- 06
Refining the Proportion
Heat, touch, and a trained eye bring bowl, stem, and base into one balanced composition.
- 07
Fire Polishing the Rim
The rim is finished ultra-thin and smooth so the glass disappears at the moment of the sip.
