The Luxe Series is dishwasher safe when loaded with care. A few deliberate habits help protect an ultra-light bowl, fine stem, and fire-polished rim through the clean-up after the last guest leaves.
Cleaning the Luxe Series
Give each glass space and support.
By hand
- Wash one glass at a time in warm water with mild detergent.
- Support the bowl rather than gripping only the foot or stem.
- Use a soft sponge or cloth without abrasive surfaces.
- Rinse thoroughly and set the glass where it cannot be knocked.
Drying and polishing
- Use a clean, lint-free cloth.
- Support the bowl while polishing; work in small sections.
- Never twist the bowl and foot in opposite directions.
- Store upright with enough room between neighboring glasses.
Avoid common stress points
Protect the transition from bowl to stem.
Sudden temperature changes, contact with heavier pieces, abrasive scrubbers, and opposing twisting pressure place unnecessary stress on fine glassware. Treat the glass as one balanced form rather than three separate parts.
